~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Sue, Check out the discussion group  just above for divisions 257/258. There are several posting in that discussion group that have SRs in the same division.

Thanks I pray she passes. I will keep you all posted.

If Ladichez' daughter doesn't pass her run before her PIR, she will remain in the FIT DIVISION, with 3 tries a week.  M W F usually.  Once she passes, she will do BattleStations with the next group....then head straight to A School, no PIR.  This would only be if she didn't pass her PFA before her own PIR.

Hi Ladies!  I Love checking out the ticker above and seeing the days tick off!

Ladichez, I've heard that they work with them extra to meet the requirements. I've not heard that they can replace running with swimming though. Not to scare you but it was mentioned on one of the other groups a daughter being held back because of her run time. I will keep your SR in a special prayer that she will pass her time. Hugs to you momma. I've been worried about my SR before he left he was one of the bigger/heavier in his group. But I've prayed hard and so far he has passed everything.  Hugs again.

Hello All!

Ladichez:  Hang in there.  The run trips up alot of them in the end, but most of them get it done before PIR.  Her last chance to try and make her PIR would be Wed of PIR week.  If she passes then, she would do BattleStations with the next group going and be at PIR.  Let's hope she get it done before then and gets to do BattleStations with her division!

And, I also have never heard of being able to swap out the swim test for the run.  Like Sandy said, they continue to get tested in the fleet and the push ups, sit ups, and run are what they are tested on.  2 minutes may sound like alot of time to make up, but believe me...I have seen it happen on here!  So .... here's to Wings on her Feet!  :-)

Thanks sandyW and Ellen ttying to not worry about it. I will continue to pray I hope I get a call from her soon.
