~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

The letters from my SR (div 258) were great and the biggest surprise on my way home from work yesterday was my daughter-in-law calling me and connecting my son so I could talk with him. He has been calling her and she's been relaying the messages to me but yesterday was the first time I've talked to him since he left over 3 weeks ago. He sounded great!! His mouth was doing better after getting his wisdom teeth taken out last week. He did mention some of the other SRs not paying attention and acting up. Hopefully they will get it together.
Ladichez, does she have wisdom teeth still? I have seen alot of posts regarding the recruits getting their wisdom teeth pulled and from experience I know that Navy Dentists lean towards removing them even if they haven't been giving you any trouble....especially if you're still in late teens to early twenties when they see you.
We got letter from our son.( Ship 03 Div 262 ) He's good. He has to have wisdom teeth pulled out today. I'm so worried about him.
Thanks so much :)
Today is graduation day for our youngest so we will have a house full of people this weekend. I love having family here especially my sailor but after all this I will be ready for some quiet time with just me and hubby lol. We have an 1100 sq ft house, with our 5 kids, two of their dogs, 2 grandparents, my two brothers, their wives and kids and grandkids, my hubby's ex wife (yeah we invited her) her boyfriend and her brother, a couple boyfriends and at least 3 BFF"s added to that and now a tropical storm so lots of rain uggggg. Calgon take me away lol
No sailors in this group yet, Ladichez. But it won't be long! There is a group having their PIR today....they are very excited, of course! Your turn will be here before you know it! :-)
Good Morning!
So great to get another call and the letters, finally the letters! I'm so excited! Now that the letters are rolling in, the time will go by much faster. Can't believe it's already been a month y'all! Closer and closer to marrying my fiancé! He sounded so good on the phone today!
She is adorable, Lala!
