~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

I got one and my daughter got one. He said he was doing good. He thought the guys in his five (258) were great Just some of them needed to learn to shut up. Which is What he said our last call. My daughter and I had a good cry after we read them. Prayers that everyone gets a letter. Felt like Christmas.
I just received a call from my boyfriend. He said that I received two letters from my son, Div 258. I can't wait to get home and read them. I am so excited!!!
Got two letters from our son, Div 258. I just started bawling when I saw his letters and handwriting. He is doing well, tired and trying to motivate his bunk mate, so prayers for them would be appreciated. He says the hard thing is being disconnected from the world. I've always said that he would be the son we'd have to track down, lol. But he wrote that he doesn't like being so far from us. That makes me feel good. It was really great getting letters. Hoping another call come through, that would be amazing!
Hello Friends,
"For I am the Lord, your God,
who takes hold of your right hand
and says to you,
Do not fear; I will help you."
Psalm 41:13

Jd. My son is in div 258. We got trouble letters today. Glad my mailman understanding of our stalking the mailbox. Lol
I got TWO letters today! After all the waiting it was such a relief. Hopefully I get a call tonight, that would just be the cherry on top of everything right now!
