Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 936
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important
Every single concern is genuine
Every single member is important to us
We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

:) Just tried to watch the new graduation live, it's pretty bumpy, but GO DRUMLINE!!! Your SR has a new fancy stick trick and the cymbals do a new move. They all look great and congrats to all of this ships moms for having such fantastic SR - soon to be sailors!
Hi Alison, Did you notice our sons had much shorter hair than last week...so handsome. I am looking forward to watching the video tomorrow, I had a tough time watching it too. I just wanted to tell you that at work I made one of the PIR pics from last week as my wallpaper, so your son is part of my wallpaper! LOL! My mom saw the whole video today, and she said they did great again! Can't wait to get the "I'm a sailor" call!!! Wanted to ask you where your live, how far do you have to travel to Great Lakes? I'm in AZ, so it's a hike. Have a great weekend, sure hope to get calls this weekend!! Bernadette
Hi Bernadette :) You're right, their hair is so short, and the funny thing is I got a call today and my son said he was out of shampoo. Good thing he has almost no hair to wash. That is so great that my son is part of your wallpaper -- they are also bunkmates! Calls should come in Tuesday, I can't wait either. We are from Connecticut (but native northern Californians ;), we are flying out of NY so we can get a direct flight. Hopefully it won't be too much of a haul for you to fly from AZ. I can hardly wait until Friday, I hope we get to meet you and the family!!
Hi Bernadette! That is so sweet of you to relay...awwww :)
He was really thrilled they won the captains cup too. Now just waiting for a call, although it was totally amazing and unexpected to get one Sunday (hooray!) One of the other moms posted that she had info on Battlestations etc and to inbox her, but I have not heard back from her since Saturday -- everyone must be so busy with packing and travel! I love NH, you are so lucky to have grown up there, most of NE is so fabulous and neither of my kids can imagine living back in CA without seasons. When are you flying out? My son said the BC food has been great, but he is desperate for Indian food, of all things, so we are looking for something near base for Friday
