Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 814 and 815

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Second letter arrived today! Very upbeat and food is good! Said we may get a call this weekend so just wanted to prepare all of you should this be true!! Can't wait to talk to him!

5 WEEKS FROM TODAY!!!

I received a phone call today from my son. I can't tell you how exciting it was to hear his voice. He seemed very upbeat and had a great sense of humor seems to be getting through things as best as can be expected. I was happy to hear his voice however he only had a few minutes to talk as he had been on watch and didn't have as much time and he wanted to call his sister as well. he mentioned that he has received my letters and hope to call back in another couple of weeks. Yay!
I received a call today too! I was so excited to finally hear his voice. He was also very upbeat. He had 2 wisdom teeth pulled on Monday but he was ok. We were lucky to have about a 20 minute chat and his sister was home too. I can't wait until July!

Gentle reminder ladies. Please do not post last names, or any other personal information about your recruit. While everyone on this site should be mindful of personal information on this site (N4M does not allow last names), you need to be very watchful with anything that you post.

Most if not all of your recruits will have the highest clearance level in the Navy, and info can be detrimental to who they are. It is ok to post "general info", but if you post anything that can "locate" or identify your recruit to others you are posting too much.

If your user name includes a last name, please change it. If your profile is set to public, change it to private please. You would be surprised how easy it is to identify someone with even the smallest amount of info.

Just popping in this group to inform you after PIR hopefully your son will be going to PreBUDs and then BUD/s. I moderate a group for current and past members of PreBUDs and BUDs. If you wish to join to get support during this time, please friend request me WITH A MESSAGE OF WHERE YOUR SON IS. If I just get a plain friend request with no message, I can't respond as I have no way of screening who you are.

Also, again make sure your profile is set to private, your profile picture does not identify you or your son and your hometown is not actually your hometown. I have seen cases where a guy was "picked on" because the instructors knew his mom was on this site. How did he know? He came from a very small town that was very easy to identify him by. Thanks!
