Hi Ladies,

Some of you may have seen a conversation between other moms, in a different PIR date, on Navy For Moms regarding a gift basket auction at Sarge's Meet and Greet.  I thought this would be fun for us to do as well, if we can get enough of us ladies to participate.  I believe the idea was to make a basket specific to our state or locale.  The proceeds will go to Sarge and his wife for hosting all of us.  This would just be on top of our donations for the Meet and Greet in appreciation to them.  I think if we could have at least 10 ladies say yes to participating, this would be enough to "go" with.  We will need to set a monetary limit to spend on making the baskets, so I will wait to hear your response:)  I am signing up to make one basket right now:)  Anyone who cannot or does not wish to make a basket, can feel free to bid on the baskets;)

Thanks for any involvement!

ps. Mine will be "Imported from Detroit"

I can do one that represents Texas! What hotel should we book to be close to this meet and greet?

Awesome, Deanna!  Sounds great;)  I believe there are many hotels right in that area.  Sarge's is held at the Sundance Saloon.  I will look up that address and try to post a link so you can see where it is compared to any hotels you may be considering.

Maybe we can all book at the same hotel! Just a thought? Lol

LOL, well, some of might already be!  I'm at the Ramada.  I saw some negative reviews, and know they are currently renovating.  It's hard to know really, when I've never been in the town.  haha

Ok my mom and I came up with our heading for Texas basket- Everything is bigger in Texas!

HaHa!  Good title!  I am interested to see it!

Hey Ladies, so far we have two signed up to make baskets.  We are hoping for 10.  Anyone want to represent their area with a gift basket to put up for auction at Sarge's Meet and Greet?

I will put one together from MN....

It will be Tastefully Simple Products, since it is MN based company.  It won't disappoint.

See you 18-July.

Oh, I know a little about Tastefully Simple:) Thank you! Please include a list of items included in the basket, and please make it viewable to the bidders:)  Also, please shoot me a message letting me know what you spent so the auctioneer can keep that in mind.

I will put together a basket that will be Awesome....everything but a puppy.....lol.  Not funny, I know that my SR wants to see the cutest damn puppies ever!  I will have a list for you as I get everything together. It will be worth over $50.00.    This is what I do when I am not taken care of pup's......lol

Wow, that sounds really great:)  Just so you know we set a cost of 25.00-40.00.  Of course, if this is on your heart to do, then By all means.  Just wanted to keep this affordable.
