Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 265 and 266

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

How do we find/get on the facebook page?

Just key in PIR 07-19-13 TG36 on FB's search.  That's all I did and found it.  Got a wonderful letter today and it sounds as if 266 is doing great at this stuff.  Keep your fingers crossed, they are carrying some gaudy numbers into this week's testing!

Yay! Let's keep them in our prayers. It does sound like they're doing really well.

Thank you!

Hello everyone - Happy Saturday!

I need some help - my other daughter and I are flying in on Wednesday the 17th (actually it will be Thursday early AM) at 1:10am. I was hoping not to have to rent a car until Thursday afternoon since the only thing we have to do on Thursday is the M&G at 5:30 - I'm going to guess the earlier part of the day we will need to rest!  LOL  But I'm just going to throw this out there in the hopes someone maybe can help: will anyone be flying in around that time?  We are coming into the Midway airport and are staying at the Navy Lodge - which is about 100 miles away!  Sadly, money is tight so I was just wondering if anyone would be in the area and maybe we could catch a ride to the hotel?  it's crazy hours so I would only ask if someone were coming into the same airport at the same time. I was thinking I could get us a car in Great Lakes on Thursday so that would save a days worth of rental fees.

There it is - I put out there...ya never know!  :o)

Hope you all hear from your SRs and have a beautiful day!!

I found an awesome deal with Thrifty car rentals - $19.94 a day!!! So I'm good to go!!

Blessings to all!!!

SamisMom Ship 09 Div 265 :o)  - How did you find that? Is that a special promo or coupon offer? I've been checking a bunch of car rentals because I'm renting one for the whole trip. I'm driving to Great Lakes, but couldn't take my car. The best I've found is $198 for a week's rental through the AAA (Ohio Motorists Association). That includes the tax, but, not any additional amenities.

Hi momMovesRyan!

I just called them and asked what they had at the Midway airport for 4 days. My AAA got me a discount.
Your $198 isn't too bad. I was seeing $350 when I was looking places up on the Internet.

Maybe give Thrufty a call and see if they have an office near you.

I would have those phones very close by tomorrow afternoon if your have SRs in these divisions....just saying....  :-)

Wahooooooo!!! I am so excited for my baby girl!!! ER, I mean my Future Sailor!! Lol. Can't wait!!
