Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 249 and 250

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is Ship 14 division 250! I'm happy to know he has a friend from home with him too. His job is AECF and will be staying in GL for A school. Any other moms out there in division 250?

My son is the same ship and division!  He will also be staying in GL for A school!  So excited to finally get his information :)   What state are you from?

Got the letter today! It was like Christmas morning receiving that letter. My son is in ship 14 div 250. It's nice to finally know this. He'll be going to A school in Maryland for MC. Anyone else out there?
Jackrussellmom my son is the same division too! He's staying in GL for A school.

Mama CeCe, MissingMyKing, JackRussellMom~~

My son is in the same ship and div as your sons!  I am so glad to be making contact with a few moms who are in the same situation as I am!

I am so glad also to be making contact with other mom's who sons are together. We have to stick together too through this journey as it is as much as a toll on us as it is on them (at least emotionally). I am so happy to have found this site as I don't know how I would of gotten through this alone. So proud of myself today I only cried once. Well its still only 10:00 am here. lol

lol JackRussellMom...!  me too and it's only 8:00am here!  It's so hard not hearing their voice.  Glad we have each other too!  At least we can cry, laugh and be there for each other.

JackrusselMom and MissingMyKing...

Everyone around me is surprised I'm not more of a mess. I think if I seat and think too much I'd cry like a baby. I'm trying to accept that this is my new life. I still love and miss him but it was his chose to leave home. I'm so proud of him. It was hard writting to him and trying to stay positive and not tell him that it took days for me to even open the "box' or that when I cant take it I just go seat and cry in his room.

We have to stay busy!!! Time has to fly!!!

Im with you MamaCeCe!  Tears were running down my face a few minutes ago because I was dumb enough to read his text that are still on my phone!  One day at a time for us to make it through this time of not being able to talk to them.  What's your son's first name...I'll let my son know that his buddie's mom and I are out here supporting each other.  My son's name is Jacob.  Wonder how they're doing?  They say no news is good news...

MissingMyKing I never thought of reading his texts...OH Lawrd now when I get off work that's what I'm gonna do....

My sons name is Abel. When I write to him I'll let him know about Jacob. And I dont like that saying "No news is good news"!! to who? us? Cause it's not!! lol!!

Hang in there...I try not to lose it. I hold it in a lot!! I went and framed of a picture of him at his going away bbq for my office. It makes me feel like he is with me everyday! :)

I do the same thing MissingMyKing. I have read his text messages to me. I have also watched a video that I took of him on my phone. Me and the dog have slept in his bed every night since he left and I wear his t shirts to bed. I think it's getting better though. Getting his form letter definitely lifted my spirits. My sons name is Anthony. Please mention him to Jacob and Abel in your letters too. I'm going to tell him in my letters that I write with Abel and Jacobs moms here on this site and we are all supporting them here from back home.
