Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 275 and 276

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

OMG!!!!  I found the ship and the div. my son is in!  My son is on ship 04 div 276.  I have only received one call and one letter.  He tried calling one other time and I missed it by 5 min.  He said that he is carrying the sword.  I had to call his recruiter to find out what that meant.  I am looking up activites to do while we are there.  Any suggestions.

Hi....Division 275 here

Our SR got to call me (step mom), Dad and her mom today.  Was good to hear from her and to hear some of the stuff they have done already.

Hope everybody got or will get there calls this weekend.

Hello my Daughter is ship 04 div 275...No letter or phone call yet..soo hard..

Hang in there Mypeanut.......

The letters will start coming this week, start stalking the mailman around Wed/Thurs depending on what part of the country you live in.

There are all kind of reasons she may have not been able to call.  Of course we always think the worst, but from what I understand the division is not working very well at this point as a team.  It will take a few more weeks for them to come together as one, and start leaning on each other to just get through the day.  She could have been in Medical, Dental, had watch (although I am not sure we are at that point).

Just stay positive, keep the phone handy and stalk the mailman.

GM tackjiacky...

Thank you for the repley...Oh trust me everytime my phone rings I answer it.. Used to ingor the numbers I didnt know but now I answer every call hoping it will be her voice..:-( Thanks for the laugh about the mailman and I dont think I have gotten my mail so quick or seen so much of the mailman as I have in the last two weeks...I am trying to really hard not to think the worse.. My friends keep telling me no news is good news..

We have gotten letters the past two weeks & calls on Sundays we are half way thru hang in there & continue to encourage our SR's PIR is getting closer by the day!

my daughter is ship 04 and 276 too. was looking at the coins they look really nice .

how do I get a coin for PIR gift.

I wonder if their is a challenge coin for the USS Arleigh Burke that would make a great PIR gift!

There is a nice coin on e-bay. The seller's site is PIRNAVY. I actually purchased the challenge coin, ship coin and boxes for them. Prices are very reasonable.
