Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 275 and 276

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Congratulations! It is such a proud feeling to know they are successful! Where is he going to A school? My SR is going to Lackland AfB in TX and we have no idea when she ships out. I hope we get to spend some time together. We booked our reservation through the weekend just in case. Will you be attending Sarge's meet and greet Thursday evening?

I have that on my itinerary to go to the meet and greet, if I can get there on time.  I land from Arizona at 7:00 P.M. He is going to A school in Great Lakes so I will be able to see him for the weekend.  I am staying in Deerfield.  I should have made reservations in Gueree.

1 week from now PIR will be over for our group.  Just watched the live stream of today's PIR.  Wow!  I had chill bumps.  Can't wait till next week for our group's PIR!

Hello and welcome to Sarge’s corner.

P.I.R. will come faster than you can imagine. You will need time to plan ahead so your trip can be enjoyable and stress free. I have lived in this area since 1981 and retired from the U.S. Army in 1991 after 21 years of honorable service.

Today’s servicemen and servicewomen are the finest our country has seen in over a century. Our service members are the most talented, most disciplined, most physically and morally fit individuals and come from all walks of life. They joined for a purpose. No one forced them to wear the Armed Forces Uniform. They are all volunteers and I salute them for their willingness to support and defend what we as American’s treasure most, our freedoms.

Please join my wife and I for our meet and greet at the Sundance Saloon every Thursday from 5:15PM to 9:00PM when there is a P.I.R. We are not a commercial venue and we do not own the Sundance Saloon. We are just two good old Americans that believe in supporting our troops day-in and day-out and we have been doing this for the last 2.5 years out of the goodness of our hearts.

At the meet and greet there will be tons of information, ways to save money while in the area, and other goodies you won’t find on other websites or at other meet and greets.

My wife and I are the ones who purchase/make this food for you. We do this each week for each PIR families and friends. The Sundance Saloon doesn’t charge us to rent the space, which is their gift to the Navy families.  I don’t charge you for this food either. It is a free meal; however, if you wish to make a donation to help defray our costs, since this is out of pocket for us, that is greatly appreciated. There will be a donation box at the front of buffet table. This is strictly voluntary on your part. We would love to have you come join us. Since this is a private event, all ages are admitted. Please be responsible and have I.D. ready when ordering from the bar. No one under 21 is allowed to consume any alcoholic beverage.

Here is what you can expect at the meet and greet.

5:15PM  Guests arrive - cash bar

6:15 PM Buffet line is opened. We serve -   Pasta, Fried Chicken, Sausage and Peppers, Meatballs, Olive Garden Bread   Sticks, fruit trays, salad and brownies. During dinner there will be a film on Boot Camp, Battle Stations 21, and the continuous slide show on what to expect this weekend.

6:50 PM - Pledge of Allegiance

7:00 PM - Tribute to veterans and National Anthem

7:10 PM - 8:00 PM - Overview of slides that were shown during dinner including shortcuts to graduation hall which will   save you an hour of waiting on line at Buckley road.

8:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Q & A session and   sign-ups for shuttles to P.I.R.

If you need any additional information contact me at 847-212-0246. You can find me on face-book by searching for “Sarge John L. Spadaro” and feel free to add me as a friend.  God Bless your family and The United States Of America.

Waiting for the " I'm a Sailor" call tomorrow. So excited for PIR! Let's do this 276!!!!!!
Received "I'm a Sailor" call. Everyone in the
div passed Battleship. The division also won Hall of Fame! I am one proud, relieved and excited mama. HOOYAH!

My son is in that division, Michael Robert.  What does that mean that the division won the Hall Of Fame.

I have not received "I'm a Sailor" call.

Evidently their division was the first to ever beat out the special ops div...that's what my grandson said in his letter I FINALLY received yesterday. HOOYAH...GO NAVY! We are on our way to PIR.
Have a safe trip!

I have my hotel shuttle dropping us off tomorrow for PIR.  Where should I be dropped off?
