Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

My son is an Aviation Tech
Awesome:))
Anyone booked their hotels yet? We booked the Ramada in Waukeegan!
I made my reservation at the Navy Lodge. $65 per night & no tax, close to base & I heard it's decent from other parents.
We are also staying at the Navy Lodge. We'll get there late on the 27th and then rest on that Thursday. Try to make it to the meet and greet at the Ramada on Thursday night. Im not sure what my sons rate is...
I won't be at the M&G. We won't be leaving til 7 ish Thursday the 28th. & Getting there around 10/11 ish that night.(Don't live far). But that we will miss a good majority of Chicago traffic!

As long as your in line at 6:30 am to go to the graduation...I think you'll be fine :)

Oh yeah, i'm not worried. It's kinda twisted how I got caught up with navy guys.

I dated someone who was navy, and we dated while he went through basic, and mutually decided to split it off about a month after he graduated. (i attended his pir). I decided myself, after extensive research, i wanted to join, so i checked out a few delayed entry program meetings, and decided i really liked it, and me and one of the guys there hit it off and started dating back in february, and have been together almost 5 months now. strange strange strange past. and now in about a year and a half if my bf and i are still together it will be a dual military relationship.

Thats Awesome!!!!! Great story...Congratulations to you both!!!!!
We have less than 3 weeks, WoW how time flies. I am so excited to see my SR. I'm still waiting on more letters. I really enjoy chatting with all of you and all of the great advise.

Me too... this is a moment in time that will come and go in a blink of an eye...I'm glad were here to support each other.

I got letters yesterday, 2 of them, which is way out of the ordinary because i usually get mine thursdays - i am SOOOO not complaining though!!!(:

I wish they'd let them make another call this week or next week!
