Hi everyone, just looking to see if anyone has hear from their SR?  I received my form letter June 13 a week after my daughter left, but not calls or letter from her  yet. I realized they don't have much time to call, but I was hoping to at least get a quick call.

Hi Paloma, I got my first letter from Spencer 5-23.  What a joy and relief to hear from him.  I hope you get a letter soon!
Thanks Shannon, I just got mail!!!! soo happy, but I'm still waiting for my phone to ring, so hopefully tonight or tomorrow.  When did your son left for bc? my daughter is 09/239
He left 6/6, Is it ok to ask where your daughter is going after bc?I  am carrying my cell with me everywhere I go waiting on his call. I hoping they will let him call both parents, cuz his dad and I are divorced.

Shannon,

They don't care how many calls they make in their allotted time, as this was the case with my daughter, she called me, her dad, her sister, and her boyfriend.  Of course she didnt get to talk to us but about 10 minutes, but I glad just to hear her voice.

Thanks, that's welcome news.  I miss him so much and long to hear his voice and know he's doing well.  !0 minutes is better than no minutes I guess.

Hi Paloma, my daughter left for bootcamp on June 7th, We got the "box" home on the 10th and the form letter on the 13th too!  I sent her priority mail 5 letters and cards in one pkg the very next day hoping she would get it for mail call on Sunday, Fathers Day. She didn't get any mail that day and was very disappointed. We knew because of her letter we received on the 23rd, she had written on Fathers Day; In her letter she was hoping to call home today the 26th. I hope she'll get the 11 letters I've already sent plus several I know her friends have sent. my daughter is also Ship 09 Div 239 so im sure they've met

I hope, I hope...my phone is never more than 12 inches from my hand these days just in case.
Hi Jean, nice talking to you. My daughter left June 06, I still have not received a call but did get one letter, so hopefully I will also hear from her today, I keep my phone by me 24/7. I was told you cannot send priority mail, all mail should be regular.. My daughter mentioned that there are 80 females recruits in division 239, and that 2  got sent home. Let's keep our fingers cross.

Nice to talk to you also. I just got my 3rd letter home yesterday and she said she had gotten the priority mail. When I read the form letter again it didn't say you couldn't send it only that they wouldnt get it any quicker.  She got her dog tags and they had a tornado warning the other day, all the girls were stuck in the head for an hour and the electricity went out 3 times. She says it feels like its getting easier. She passed her first inspection with a 90%, I don't know if that was for the division or something personal. Also, she is a Section Leader for when they do marching, they gave her the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class. I'm so proud of her!!! It's so weird to read about these happening a week after they happen! I'm so used to hearing about things almost right away. I guess we have to get used to that.

I received 3 letters on Thursday June 23rd and 2 more for my son's finance!! It was nice to hear what he was going through and how he was doing. He told me he would write me when his call would be, but it could be next Thursday. He told me to keep writing cause he receives mail M-F. He left on 6/6 and is on ship 09 Div 240.
3 letters thats wonderful......... Congratulations is always good to know our kids are doing good and keeping up with their hard daily routines.  We must keep writting it really helps them.
Has anyone gotten a phone call yet?  Just wondering .
