Thank you for starting this.....what rating are everyones SRs? HM is my SR.
Im not exactly sure what my husband is..but I know he is going into aviation.
My boyfriend is going to be a linguist, his A school will be in Cali!
That is cool. I know his A-school is in Pensacola, and then his first station will be Lemoore, California. Which I am completely excited about.
My SR is an E-3 (I think); what is an HM?

HM is a Hospital Corpsman. It's his job :)

Cool! Looks like our boys are in the same ship/division!
Hello, Everyone. My husband is also in Ship 03 Div 235 and his rating is HM. Has anyone received a "real" letter from their recruit, yet? I miss him so much and can't wait until I can read about what's going on in his handwriting.
Hey so just a heads up, I talked to my boyfriends mom a little bit ago and she had just received a call from him saying he had gotten the first of my letters yesterday. Therefore I do not think I will be receiving a letter until sometime next week.... I do not know if this will be the same for all of us in the division (maybe my bf just got in trouble and couldn't get any letters- I heard they do that for punishment sometimes... but I really doubt that he is a goody too shoes lol). One girls said she had talked to her SR and they said they were able to write already, so we will just never know when to expect letters or calls.

When did your boyfriend get to boot camp?  My son arrived May 26th, but I have not received a call yet.  When he arrived at boot camp,  he said he would be able to call in three weeks.

my boyfriend got there on the 26th as well. I have been in really good communication with his mom about everything. She has had a few short phone calls because of paperwork issues, but other than that no big call. But I know those will be coming soon. They get promised one call and all others they have to earn.

A phone call?! Really?! Oh man, I'm hoping I didn't miss mine!! It would be amazing to hear his voice, again. Do you all miss your recruits like CRAZY or am I just, well, crazy? Haha.
