OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Jackie:  Keep calling Navy Lodge back, they get cancellations.  Call them, don't try online.  We have heard that advice from several in previous groups who were able to finally book a room with them.

Jackie - it's nice to know that I'm not the only one thinking these things! If I could have everything planned and ready to go I would! It's going to be great to meet y'all at sarge' meet and greet and PIR! Are you guys going to the meet and greet?

Love4one: you're definitely not alone! Lol I wish these weeks could be put on fast forward! I'm sure the SRs feel like it's going by fast and just a blur but not for us! When did your SR get to BC?

HealthyHopeHappiness: they do feel so real! I feel like I want to plan everything already and think what it's going to be like seeing him at PIR but then I think it's too early to think of all that! I agree time cannot go quickly enough
