I was told that during PIR weekend they are allowed, but not during any other time. I called this morning and they were already booked for 7/31 weekend. :-(

I heard if you stay at the navy lodge that your sr can't stay with you. Does anyone know if this is true?

diannep. Thanks for the tip about making the reservation to Navy Lodge in SR's name. I just called and changed my reservation. That was a great tip. Not sure that appears anywhere else on this site.

Everyone please check out the hotel you want to stay in on www.TripAdvisor.com before booking.  Check out the reviews.  Hotels recommended on this site from previous groups are:

Navy Lodge (book in SR's name if you don't have military ID), Springhill Suites, Residence Inn, Courtyard, Holiday Inn Express (these last 4 are about 4-5 miles from RTC, near the MeetandGreet held for you the night before PIR).  Call these directly and ask for the Navy Graduation discount.

Good Morning!

love4one, You will have all day Sunday with your Sailor, if you can stay until Monday perfect. Do check with the Navy Lodge, and call the hotel directly!
