I have reservations at the Ramada for the 4th & 5th, but I don't think I will make the drive from Indiana by 6 o'clock. I will try to rearrange my schedule and try to get there a little sooner!!
Counting the days to Graduation!!!
Jennifer
Hey Jennifer, I hope you make it! I am so excited. What division is your son/daughter/husband/ in ?
We are flying I think but I haven't made reservations. Waiting a little bit to decide what to do. That is alot of money and if I have to change it will be $125 penalty.
Hello again. I am glad you are getting to go. My son is in RTC. He is 25 and is engaged to Amberrose who is also on this site. They are hoping to get married this Christmas or around that time but he will be in A school in Pensacola so depending of if the class makes or not will make a big difference. I got a letter from him today which was wonderful! He is doing well and likes everyone in his division. He is in 938 which is the performing division. He will be playing a trombone in the graduation. He hasn't played in 7 years but says it is all coming back to him. :.) We are from North Georgia.
As far as hotels, I looked around and read alot of reviews and although a little pricey, $119, the Marriott Springhill Suites got a great review and is only 3 1/2 miles from base. It has 2 queen beds then another sitting area which we thought would be good for our son. My future daughter in law will be staying with us too. :.) By the way, make sure you call to whatever hotel you pick because the really will give you a lower rate. The price online was $149 for same room. Ask for the Navy Graduation rate.
