Hi ashbran2.  Thanks for your reply, and welcome!  You are now the 8th person I know of with a SR in Ship 07/Div. 245.  Our numbers are gradually growing!!!

I don't by any means want to sound discouraging, but I do want to be helpful by suggesting that you don't refer to names on any public group pages or discussions such as this one.  Private messaging (PM) is good way to contact others with whom you want to share personal and/or identifying information.  You can PM from a person's profile page using "Send a Message", and that message is only between you and the recipient.  (You might need to first be on each other's friends list by sending/accepting a friend request).

My daughter is with this group. glad that there are other moms here. I am going crazy with my daughter being gone. I did get her box like 4 days after she left but I never got the PIR letter. And I have not gotten any mail from her. I don't know the actual date of graduation. We would like to get our tickets to go to the graduation and also get our room for while we are there.

Hello Bekka2u2!  Ship 07/Div 245 has a PIR date of August 5th.  If you do make any travel plans, it is advisable to make sure everything can be cancelled/changed without penalty because a SR's PIR can be changed for numerous reasons at any time up to just before the scheduled graduation date.

Good luck, and I look forward to corresponding with you!

I am going by train but my sister is flying. And her dad is driving, and boyfriend is driving. I believe that on the train I Can change the tickets but I don't know about my sister and the flight. I never got a PIR letter from her. And I don't kow if she just didn't fill out the envelope to have it mailed or if it got lost in the mail. And we have not received any mail yet either. So I need to rely on other for now I guess to see what we should be doing and etc. Thanks for the help.

Hi all. My boyfriend is also in ship 07 div 245. I am so excited to hopefully get my letter this week! I hope to hear that he is doing ok.
ColleenJacksGirl, So nice to hear from you!  Now there are 11 of us in 07/245 that I know of.  I received my first letters (4 of them!) from my son just today.  They are postmarked June 27th, and I am in So. Cal.  So, there is a good chance your letter(s) will arrive soon, too!  Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
I received 2 letters from my daughter today.  It was so good to hear from her
Excellent, Ashbran2!!  How is she doing?
She is having a hard time dealing with things.
That is so difficult to hear when it's not possible to give reassurance and hugs that moms are so inclined to do.  I have heard over and over that the first 2-3 weeks are always the hardest and SR's morale does improve from that point forward, especially as the division starts working together as a more cohesive team.  I hope it gets better for your daughter real soon.  I'm sending best thoughts to both of you.
I am so sorry to hear that. I hope that it gets better for her real soon.

I got 5 letters from my boyfriend yesterday. I hadnt been that happy in awhile! He is doing well and have made 3 close friends but tons of friends. I wonder if any of them are yours alls sons, boyfriends, husbands etc. Now im just waiting on a call. Hope it comes soon and when im not at work so i can answer and talk. lol but i guess i cant be picky lol
