Hoping that those who have SRs in Ship 07 / Div 245 can gather here and connect with each other.

I hate to be the meanie, but remember not to post SR's names, phone numbers, or last names. We can get our SR's in some hot water. Please edit.
Thanks, amberrose.  I was thinking I was "PM"ing.  OMG!
Thank you!  You rock!  :-D
Well some in the family got letters from my daughter on thursday and Friday (her Aunt and her GMA & Gpa got letters). I am pretty sure that I got one too but I have been in the hospital the last 5 days and haven't been able to go to the P.O. yet. I can't wait to get ahold of that letter though. My sister read me her letter from my daughter and my folks let me read their letter. She is doing good. She gets to practice her swimming for ARS every am at 5:30 I guess. She passed her PST...... YAY!!!! And seems to like it. She said nothing like GMA'S homecooking. ANd Bootcamp isn't as bad as she thought it would be. Of course she doesn't like the fact that she has 80 other personalities to deal with but she will suffer through it she says. lol. Just glad she is doing well. I haven't gotten a call from her yet. I was kind of hoping today I would hear from her but I didn't. Anyone else hear from their loved ones?

Bekka2u2, ARE YOU OKAY?  5 days in the hospital sounds serious, and I sincerely hope everything is okay.  It's so nice to hear that your daughter is not only adjusting and doing well but liking boot camp!!!  :-)

I have not received a call from my son, so I suppose the div. has not been given phone privileges yet.  That, or the phone card I sent him doesn't work (oh, no!).  If and WHEN he calls, I'll add a comment here about it so others know to expect one too.

I am ok and Thank You for asking I just have an enlarged liver. I have no idea how that happened but I am sure the specialist will figure it all out. I was so glad to get that first letter from my daughter I was hoping that I would get more mail this week. We shall see. My daughter said that Bootcamp was not as bad as she thought it would be. She expected it to be much harder and alot more up in your face from the RDC'S but she said that hasn't happened much. If and when I get a call I will also post. Hope to see everyone the night before the graduation. I am going to try to get my train tickets this week or next.

I'm glad to hear you're ok.  JUST an enlarged liver?  Wow, you're a tough one! :-)

Ya know, it's the "in your face" aspect of boot camp that I was always concerned about (we do very little, if any, yelling in our family).  Good to know that it isn't happening much!  Thanks for sharing that... one less thing to worry about. :D

Is anyone else interested in a Meet & Greet for "our" division?  I'm thinking we can plan it in conjunction with the 8/5 PIR Meet & Greet at the Ramada Inn Waukegan, which is Thu., Aug. 4th 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  I have also made contact on fb with a few others who have SRs in Div. 245 and proposed the Meet & Greet idea to them.  So far I've found only about 10 people for Div. 245, and I keep looking for more!
My sister and I talked about it and we would like to meet u with other families before the graduation. I don't know if my daughters boyfriend or her father will meet up also. But for sure my sister and I would like to meet up with soe either with the PIR 8/5 group or with the division. Please let me know if you get the group together.
Wonderful... I certainly will keep you posted!!!

I got a phone call from my daughter yesterday.  It was so great to hear her voice.  She is doing ok.  It sounds like she will graduate on the 5th of Aug.  She said it has been hot up there.  She has made some friends, which is good to hear.  We were on the phone for about 35 minutes.

My daughter also said that she has made some friends there. Which is good for her. I hope to maye meet some of her friends on grad day.
