Sbaber, so sorry to hear that news about your son. So glad he gets to continue! I know my son and the rest of 11/244 will miss him very much.  My son makes it sound like they were really becoming a team.
Wishing a fast recovery so he can resume his training soon!
I really want to thank all of you for your support this has been really hard for not only my SR but me as well to know your child is injured and you can't be there is really hard, this weekend he called he is still in RCU for lord knows how long for his knee but now has strep throat, on top of all this one of his older brothers was married this weekend and it was a very trying time for our family with him not being here, so thank you all again and I will continue to keep everyone posted. Best wishes to all.
Is your son still in RCU? My son was to graduate 7/29/11 and did not because he broke a bone in his foot. He is still there going on his third week. Wants out so badly. Would have finished on that broken foot had they let him. He even did his first run and passed with that foot. Would love to talk with someone who knows what I'm going thru.

I know how your feeling it stinks. They want to finish so badly and are stuck doing so little. Has your son been able to do any testing in RCU? They have told my son right now their classes are full, so he would have to wait. He got sick last week and its so insane not to know whats going on. He finally called Sat. morning so that was great but he said the boredom is getting to him. My son also passed his first PT as well. Has you SR signed paperwork for you to talk to medical?Mine hasn't I think he doesn't want mama getting involved but what can you do they are men now right??? not our little boys NOT they always will be our little boys. The LT. thats my son's Dr. is great and he says they at least treat them well in RCU so for that I'm grateful. Feel free to contact me anytime.

I'll pray for his recovery...!

Thanks its great to have understanding people in our corner. :) and it means allot and we can use all the prayers he can get its really hard for him there right now.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your son. May God heal him and get him back on track soon!
