Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 243 and 244
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hey I'm Morgan's mom she is in 243! She serves as their LPO.
Good evening! My daughter is in 243, and I hope to meet as many of you as possible in August!
So how is everyone's SR doing? I've gotten three phone calls. But they are so quick I have trouble remembering what he has told me. Anyone else getting info about their division? He is in Div 244.
Good morning everyone! My son, Taylor is on USS JFK Div 243. He was selected as a section leader since the second day of bootcamp and as of July 3rd the last time I spoke with him he still had the position. He told me that with one mistake you loose the position so another can try. Seems fair and it will be interesting if he can keep it.
I haven't had any mail since June 23rd and am hopeful to receive some soon. It is all good as I know he's fine and doing what he loves to do....but a letter does make the day shine brighter!
How is everyone doing?
Taylor's mom
Taylor's mom, thanks for your response. That's great that he was selected as section leader and still holds the position! I'm sure that makes you proud! I haven't had any mail since the end of June either.
Hey guys, Morgan says they are working on the ship now. She has had a bad cold but went to the medic and is feeling much better. Just got the 2nd haircut...wants to lose the "soccer mom" look! (HA!)
She just loves her training! She is really excited about getting into the cool stuff!! We plan to come to PIR.
Thanks for the update! Always good to hear what our SRs are doing!
Is she in 243 or 244?
