Just wanted to notify everyone of an exceptional deal I booked with Costco. I am sure some might have forgotten you can rent cars through http://www.costcotravel.com/#3002 . I had reserved a car the end of June for what I thought was a decent amount, $86.00, with Alamo direct. After visiting Costco's website and utilizing the coupon offer, one category upgrade along with up to 25% off, I got an exceptional deal for 2 days totaling $61.70. I am picking up from Chicago Midway Airport and returning back to same location. With so many divisions graduating, I am certain I will get an upgrade beyond the intermediate I am entitled to. Wanted to share this information with all. I have read that some don't have a ride from airport, to PIR Ceremony, etc. Hopefully this information can resolve any and all transportation issues previously discussed.

Maybe someone in the travel industry can explain this crazy pricing. If you need a car for 5 days or more, I've found the best deal is with Advantage rent a car (use code DC3130, or check retailmenot.com for discount code). I booked a midsize for 6 days from Midway Airport (visiting relatives in the area) for $261 total. This is $100 less than anywhere else I've seen - even Priceline and Costco. Maybe there's a big convention in town or something going on that week, but if you go to the Costco Travel website, you can rent a midsize car from Midway airport for four days for $127, but add one more day, and the price goes up to $374!!! Crazy.

I believe anything beyond 4 days is considered a weekly rental. It doesn't make sense to me either. Costco has the cheapest rates that I have seen online.
