Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 327 and 328

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good, hopefully I'll meet your parents as well as others at the meet and greet. I ordered ribbons with the 327 on them for the meet and greet and to wear at graduation. I hope your parents make it to the party.

They should make as long as there are no flight delays but who knows as they fly from Newark, NJ into Chicago O'hare (which both are notorious for delays).  Here is a pic of the three of us (though I can't make it).

Hi Laurie! My son is in 327 also!! We are stating at the residence inn but will be going to Sarges :). My son is headed to Charleston for Nuke School when he's done at boot camp

Wow, nuke school will that be for subs or ships or both?  My brother was in the Navy in the 80's and did nuclear stuff too but he was on a ship that is decommissioned now. Hope to see you at the meet and greet.

I haven't heard or gotten a letter lately from my son.  He is 03 Div 328.  anyone else

SkaNavyMom, I have looked for that FB group before...PIR 8/30 and can't seem to find it. HuntersMom94, my SR is Ship 3, Div 328 and July 28 was my last call too.

The link to the PIR 8/30 Facebook page. You have to send request to join but they are fast to get you on.

Thank you!

Mine in 03/328 also haven't had call in few weeks last time was a Sunday but did get letters on weds hope today to get one too!!!

My son is in Div   328 & I received a phone call from him last Thursday, but it was just to tell me he got his orders for Japan.  He did tell me that his division has gotten in trouble and has gotten their phone privileges taken away for the past 3 weeks... UGH! I was glad to hear his voice but the phone call was short, was hoping to hear from him this past weekend but didn't.... So I am going to assume they got in trouble again.  I do get letters from him usually on Thursdays, and I send him 3-4 cards a week with pictures and articles from the sports section of the newspaper.... I cant wait to see him on the 30th!!!!
