OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thank you. I was hoping.

Ladies, please stay on the main PIR page in addition to this discussion.  We N4Moms veterans don't have time to check all of the discussion groups on a regular basis for questions.  We are monitoring 6-8 PIR groups at a time, so there just isn't time.  But we do check the main PIR page several times a day to pick up questions and offer info.  So please stay on there!  As you are getting closer to PIR, we will be posting info for BattleStations and PIR!
