Did you remember to ask him about the return address?  so glad you received your call too!!

Yes, I asked him about it.  He said it was his mistake :)  Now I'm just hoping that the letter I sent with the wrong ship on it will still make it to him!

Me too!!  So glad we heard from our SR's!!!

I got the phone call  - OMG I was so happy and surprised!!!  He said he is doing really great.  We had a nice chat about 22 minutes!!  He said his division is doing really good and he likes a lot of the guys.  Oh I wish it was 9/1 tomorrow!!! :)

First phone call Friday. We are on vacation on Nantucket Island and I was so afraid I would lose the call! He sounds great, but bored. Also said he was really sick for awhile. Has anyone else said that in our div? He had to get a shot which was given by one of the new recruits. They went in way too deep and he couldn't walk for two days. lol
ONE MONTH TO GO, LADIES!!!!!!  I'm getting sooo excited!  Can't wait to see my SR!!!

Ditto!! YEA !!!

Missyssailor - my SR said a few of the SRs had to get their wisdom teeth out and a few were sick.   He thought it might be because of the "peanut butter shot" - he said "Mom, I am no longer allergic to pencillin!"  :)  He sounded really great he loves his division.

Got my letters today!!  I LOVE WEDNESDAYS!!  He sounds so good now!  He said that 7 people in their div failed their first test and that the RDCs were really aggravated with them for that..and that they missed getting the flag for that by .4 points...idk if it's an academic flag, or what.  He said that they got their dog tags, but they messed up his religion, but apparently they messed up a lot of peoples.  They got their dress whites!!  He said, "If you think you're in love now, you just wait til you see me in these!"  HAHAHA, he's so funny :)  He said as of right now, he's been told that he won't leave GL until early Saturday morning...but things always change, so I'm not getting my hopes up quite yet :)
Thanks for sharing!! I don't get my letters until Thursday - will be interesting to see what he has to say.  Will let you know.  Its too bad they didn't get their flag.  Ughh - hope my SR passed his test!!  He sounded so good on Friday.
Received 3 LETTERS today!! He sounded so good. He said they get to participate in 2 graduations before theirs!  He is actually looking forward to next week with the firestations, gas chambers.  He is keeping his head high and studying a lot - he said it has been really hot there, just like it has been here at home!!  It was so great to get these letters, he didnt say when he can call next - Ughh - 27 more days!!
Ladies...only THREE more PIRs and then it's OUR TURN!!!
YEA!!!!   I can't wait!! :)
