My husband wants to know why many of the SRs have their wisdom teeth taken out? Does anyone know?
I also recieved a call today My SR sounded very upbeat! Says he got 5 out of 5 on his inspection. Says he got the info on ordering pictures that are suppose to be taken next week. He also talked about shooting said he did great at it. Can't wait only 18 more days!
Hi ladies, ya'll are nearing the end. You have Captain's Cup, Battlestations and then PIR.YEAH!.
About the wisdom teeth, they don't want anyone to have an impacted tooth or some other problem that is common to wisdom teeth while they are deployed and it is harder to take care of so they take them out in BC.
About the Meet n Greet- The Ramada in Waukegan hosts it every week and it is for everyone- family, friends, etc.Someone usually posts a place to RSVP on the events in the column on the right, but it isn't required as it is open to all of the Navy Families. The other hotels usually give out info about it to families as they check in. It is always fun to wear a certain color scarf or pin or something to id each other easily at the M & G and PIR.
Have fun!
Hi , my son got is wisdom teeth removed at BC , all four of them ,two days in SIQ and everything went OK He said that navy has a great Dental Care Drs and they do a great job, We were a little worry about it however thanks God he wrote back how good he was.Counting Day to PIR. traveling with my mom a senior and my little one 6 years old, what do i need to bring regarding ID's?
It won't be long now until you get to see your recruits or should I say Sailors? Captains cup will be a week from Saturday and that is a great day for them to just have fun and relax a little bit. And usually the winners get an extra phone call and that is always good so good luck to all your recruits :-)
I have had a bunch of messages from people wanting to know if it is too late to order ribbons and I thought it would be easier to tell you here rather than email each person separately. It is not too late to order the ribbons to wear to PIR. Just click on my name and send me a friend request if you want more info. Thanks, I have all your recruits in my prayers <3
