Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 295 and 296

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is Div 296. Who else is from that Div?

My son is Div 296 too!!!!

My son is in Div 296, how are you doing? 15 days!!!

Rough day missing him today lol

My son has a stress fracture and was re-evaluated 10 days ago and i have not heard a word!!! He mentioned he might have to extend bootcamp but i have not heard from him, so i am planning for graduation in 15 days!!!

Not knowing is hard. Got a letter from my son as he was sick in quarters. So hard notknowing if he is still sick or if he will graduate on time. As Moms we want to be there for our kids but cant!

Did you get a letter today or was that from last week? I hope he is well and kicking butt!!

is there a specific Facebook page for 9-4-15?

I just found this site!  Wish I would have found it sooner!  My son "Jed" is in 296 and goes on and on about what a great group of recruits he is with!   He has mad a lot of friends.  Says they get in trouble for talking ALOT, but it's because they like each other so much!  So nice to find the moms!  Just think, graduation in one week!  I did get a letter yesterday.  He says things have lightened up a little.  they had their last personal inspection and only have to pass one more test, the the Battleship, which he thinks will be fun. They just finished 3 days of Firefighting.

Thank you for the update! I love this site it has a world of information. Can't wait only a week left. My son also said they have had an issue with all the talking lol sorry to hear it but glad everyone is getting along. Will you be attending PIR?

Yes!  We will be at Graduation!!  So excited!  less than one week!  We are in Kansas so we are driving, besides we will stop in St. Louis to see hubbys aunt.  Only about an 8 hour drive for us.

I figure if they are talking they like each other.  Jed said they "watch each other's backs"  and that they help each other out.  I was so glad to hear that.  Do you know how many in the division?  Are they all men?

Where are you coming from?  Flying?

We are driving out from New Jersey. We are making a little vacation out of it and heading to Mall of America first. We will be at the Navy Lodge Thursday. Are you going to the meet and greet with Sarge on Thursday night? Is your son going to Florida for A school?
