for
~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Good morning ladies hope ya'll have a awesome day :-) Many of us moms are stressed more then we expected….…
WE will get thorough this just like our new SR will.
We too must Stand Tall and Stay Strong.
I'll put ya'll in my prayers today, to give us the strength and comfort we all are needing.
Stephanie: The form letter can take from a few days up to 2 weeks or longer to receive.
I agree with what ellen said, Blessedx3. Yes, a few years back, the SRs were allowed to put their extra guests on someone else's list, but no longer. Big trouble for this. Family Guide strictly prohibits this, as ellen posted.
Good Morning!
Stephanie, The form letter will include division number, ship number address, and PIR date.
Blessedx3, We don't have any idea if there will be more than twelve divisions in this TG, and yes unfortunately if there are more than twelve only three guests are permitted to attend PIR.
You absolutely cannot have another recruit add your "extra" guest to their list, it is against the RTC rules.
I know people do it, but if your recruit is caught it can have consequences for him. Your recruit and the other recruit can lose liberty, may have a delay in phasing at A School, etc. It can/may also prevent your entire party, and the other recruits party from attending PIR, etc. It is against the rules.
Please coordinate with your Recruit as only Recruits may place names on the list. RTC can neither change these names nor release the names of those on the list. Recruits ARE NOT authorized to place additional guests underanother recruit
If this PIR group has 13 or more divisions in it, yes, only 3 guests will be allowed at PIR per sailor. This is very possible since the late Summer/early Fall groups tend to be larger, but fingers crossed that you will have 12 divisions or less, therefore 4 guests! We will wait for RTC to post your PIR group on their page, with the divisions and guest number. Your form letters will also have the number of guests listed (written in by your SRs). but occasionally it is wrong. The RTC post is the official word!
