Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 943
Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Just got off the phone with my SR and am hoping the rest of you get your call soon. He sounds so much more mature, already. He is very happy, enjoying it actually. His descriptions make me laugh! Says the Div is starting to work like a team now and everyone gets along well. Says lots of the other SRs are also going to A School in Pensacola and he has met at least one with his same rate (AM). For Liberty after PIR, he wants to "eat normal food and have a HOT shower ALONE! " He enjoyed Holiday Routine this morning, got to shower with only 4 other guys, not 44!
Life is good! :) He thinks he will get to call again in a week or so, we'll see. Also he said mail call is a huge deal, keep those cards and letters coming!
YIkes, I typed a novel and it all went to internet Heck. Aaron is very noticeable :) Glad you got your call! Also glad they all sound so positive and confident.
I will actually sleep tonight!
I got my call too! He said he was going great. He had his bottom wisdom teeth extracted. I was shocked. His teeth are beautiful. He is the door guard (Quarter deck entrance) for the VIPs at grad. His good friend is Taylor H. from AR.
Aaron'sMom my son is going to Pensacola also. He is in the aircrew schooling.
Paddleboardgirl - I think Aaron knows your SR, says he knows the SR from Vero. Like your SR, Aaron is going to be guarding quarterdeck, rail guard. He's bummed out that he doesn't get to "march with the division" at PIR. I told him he is doing an important job, he knows that, he is concerned we won't see him. Ha, fat chance of that!
I can't wait for PIR, to hug my SR and to meet all of you Moms!
OH, funny thing, he asked, "how do you know all this stuff?" Before he left for BC, I barely knew MEPS from DEP, and now - thanks to N4M - I can ask somewhat intelligent questions in the proper vernacular!
Thanks, N4M!!!!!
Wow, this makes me so happy to hear how well our SRs are doing and how positive they sound! I thought I would sleep tonight, but have been doing some situps and pushups myself, and man, my back is sore. Some Alleve should have me snoring again.
Love the gassy food thing. Be glad you're not sharing a bunk or being anywhere NEAR my SR if the food is gassy! LOL! I actually was hoping the NAVY would teach him some decorum in that respect....:)
Aaron's rate is Airframe Mechanic. Glad to hear so many of his Division mates will be heading south to beautiful Pensacola!
