My son is in this division.  He shipped out of New Orleans on 7/10.  I finally received the form letter today!  Looking forward to meeting others who have loved ones in this division.

My son is in Ship03 Div 281.  So excited to get the form letter.  I loved the handwriting.  I got a kick out of it.  I booked hotel rooms at the Ramada for PIR.  Really looking forward to that!  Cannot wait.  Next looking forward to a letter or phone call from my SR.  We loves about 2 hours south of GL.  My son will be going to A school in Pensacola, FL.

I know!  I loved the handwriting too.  It must have taken him a long time to write so neatly and so straight!

No worries on the computer stuff! If you ever need any help with the site please don't hesitate to ask me!

FTLW, I have a question, I read something about your concerns over a FB page that ws started for our group, I joined the one vor graduaation 9/7/12 but it seems like th eperson that started it is not a person with a SR of that group, was that your concern if not, please advise

Hi gunner62 - I know what you mean!  I am not computer savvy.  I don't have a smartphone and rarely use facebook.  I've been enjoying chatting you all you new Navy moms.  Keep in touch!  As I said before, division 281 and 282 are brother divisions so our sons train together.

Welcome aboard fellow 282 and brother division 281!  We will be training together.  Looking forward to traveling this journey with you.  Has anyone made airline reservations yet?  I have the hotel booked, but am waiting a little before I book airfare; although it seems the prices go up daily.

We are driving, which I personally think is crazy but there are 5 of us and we figured it would give our other kids a chance to see some of the country that they may not get to see. Loooonnnngggg drive but we are planning to arrive on the 5th for a day of rest. Should be interesting.

Wow Laurie!  YOu are driving from N. California?  You are a brave soul.  But I do understand.  I'm expecting to pay $1200 for the four of us to fly.  I'm looking into flying into Milwaukee because I heard it is cheaper.  Nothing will stop me for attending the PIR.  It heard it is an awesome experience!

I feel the same I will be there no matter what and if driving is the way, well that is what we will do. It will be so good to meet everyone in person.

Today is Sunday.  I wonder if they had time to write letters today?  What do you think veteran moms?

I think this Sunday will be the first time they are allowed to write.

Great news!  So I am hoping to maybe have something by the end of the week.  I am just dying (sp?) to know how he is doing.
