That's too bad Mom of B. Well, hope we can meet sometime. PIR maybe...
We are in for whatever is going on. This is all so new to us. Sarge's Meet and Greet sounds fun!
He called us this evening! It was so good to hear his voice!
We got our first REAL PHONE call tonight!!!!! Happy, happy. He didn't sound to great when we first spoke. He sounded very tired. He said they (ship 09,div 288) had 5 demerits today and that results in extra pt called Intense Training, IT, which sounds pretty tough. He still likes the food but doesn't like the fact that they an't talk. I asked him if they see any news at all (thinking of Colorado and Oak Creek) and he said no. So they are pretty isolated. He said he gets to read mail everyday, but can only write back on Thursdays and Sundays if they have time. So now we aren't feeling so much like jumping from a bridge!
4 camps
Oh no 5 demerits?? My SR in 288. Did he say what for? Was it inspection test?
Kind of surprised he got to call...
He said most of the demerit points were due to people taking when they were in the halls and stuff like that!
That sucks. EVERBODY likes to talk and I cant believe they are not allowed to yet. BC is half over. My SR wrote to me that she was trying to keep head down and be quiet to stay away from BS and get through this. I sincerely hope she is still doing that...
WHAT TRAINING DAY ARE THEY ON?? Sorry not yelling, just want to make sure whoevers talked to SR sees it, haha!!
Yep that's my kid....ugh...lol. No I don't know for sure but I did get a message that he was trying to talk to someone in dental and that SR wouldn't respond. My son is very very outgoing probably too much for his own good.
