Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 281 and 282

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

just got my first letter, so excited!  he sounds good, but lonely, got glasses "birth control Glasses" I guess they call them, lol.  I have written everyday since I got his address, but apparently he hasn't received them, he will get buried with them now, I must go to 2 a day's!!!

Lucky!  I still have not gotten a letter from my son..ship9div281. Hopefully today!! I'm sure my son has the same glasses :-)

I can't wait until I get home to see if I have received a letter from my son yet. I hope I have. I have been sending him letters since i received his address as well. Hopefully he has received them.

my daughter read the letter first, she grabs the mail, but she refuses to write him, I am not sure why, she is 16, that is probably why, lol.  I know she is proud of him but maybe she misses him too much, no clue.  Can't wait to meet you ladies at PIR, are you going to the meet and greet?  We are from near Buffalo, NY, where are you guys from?

I hope within the next few weeks our sailors connect and we are able to as well!  Would be great to go through this journey together, so hoping for a phone call today!

I received my first letter on thursday the 31st and had my second phone call from him on saturday the 2nd.    I think he is tired as I think they all are.  Holding strong but still struggling.

Has anyone else received a call this past saturday from your son/daughter?  Ship 09 div 282?

Yes, 10 min call Saturday and 20 min call Wednesday.

just wondering if there is a way to flip the responses, so the newer ones are on top?

Hows everyone doing out there on ship 09?  I know many people are on the facebook page as I am, make sure you keep an eye on the Basket Raffle discussion, I am trying to get to both places, but just in case!

I have some exciting news coming soon!  AND only 23 more days to go!  YIPPEE

I keep noting something about baskets but as I've just joined, feeling a little lost here.

I have not seen a link to Facebook for this group, could you help me with that?
