Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 283 and 284

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

If your SR last name beginning with H there is a message from a mom on the PIR 09-12-14 page related from her son as to why he hasn't called with the group. Please go to that Facebook page :)

Yes I think its much harder on me than it is on my boy as well!!  He seems to be enjoying himself and enjoying this experience which is awesome I just miss him a ton and don't like having to share my phone calls with his girlfriend...hahaha.  It does sting a little because I want to talk to him however, I completely understand.

Hi Tonysmom--I can really understand. His first weekend phone call last Saturday was to girlfriend. I was very glad she told me he called and I acted all great with it and all, but inside it hurt. He'll never know that though. (us moms must act really strong). He told her to tell me that if allowed a call later on Sunday it would be to me. Nice thought but didn't happen. Was just glad she said he sounded good.

Good Evening....my son is also 11/284!!!

No call for us yesterday so I'm hoping I get one today. Did anyone get calls sst Sunday? Or was Saturday the only day? Mine already had his wisdom teeth pulls so not sure why he wouldn't get to call ...

FatchewsMom:  Calls can come on Sunday afternoon/evening too!

You've now made my day!!
So apparently my SE called his dad yesterday. Looks like I won't be getting a call. Funny thing is his dad is on the private Facebook message board and never said a word to me about the calls. I guess this is going to be the mist frustrating part of it all... Who gets the call and is the other communicating? I got a call I contacted his dad immediately. I got a letter I scanned and emailed it to the rest of the fam. They get a call and nothing! Sorry to vent just disappointed I didn't hear from my son.

I know fatchewsmom can add you.

I need your name so I can find you on Facebook. It's a private message group.

I would love to join that facebook  group as well! Shipp 11 DIV 283 here! :)

I would too but can't figure out how to join the Facebook group.any help out there?
