Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 345 and 346
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hi RyansMom! I just sent you a friend request. I see your message in Chat, but I can't figure out how to respond. I've never used that feature here.
Hi all, my daughter is in Div 346. I'm not very good about posting but I read the posts pretty regularly. My husband and I will be going to PIR and we are definitely on the list. We will be staying at the Residence Inn and going to Sarge's Meet and Greet on Thursday evening. I hope to meet lots of people there. I'm very nervous for Battlestations since I just read a book that described it really well. I am sending out prayers for all.
Hi samiamsmom!
I sent you a message! Looking forward to meeting you!
We are also staying at Residence Inn. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Hi Ladies! My son is on SHIP 11 DIV 345.
I am sure everyone is excited as we'll be with our kids in 8 days! Hopefully! We got a letter today. He said they did the gas chambers last Tuesday in Aug. Didn't say he liked it just mentioned that he survived it. Also stated that they are really getting strict as far as inspections & everything else. 3 strikes & you're ASMO'D at least a week. He said it was more stressful to him cuz he wants to PIR on the 13th. Take care.
Glad they are finished the gas chamber!! I was worried about that! Oh geez, I hope all goes well with inspections, my daughter also said they are being pretty tough with them as well. Hopefully, they all do what they need to do!
I rec'd a letter (3rd questionnaire) from my son today! He sounded great! Said their final PFA was Tuesday (9/8), Test #3 (?) was Wed., and final Drill today. He said that DIV 346 has won every flag. He also said that the gas chamber wasn't that bad and that he had a funny story to tell us about that next week! Looking forward to seeing him and meeting all of you!
Correction for above. Div 346 final PFA should have been Tuesday, 9/3, per letter. Sorry!!
Hi All
Appreciate the updates, as I have not heard from my son, as of yet this week.
This is getting very exciting and yet, I cannot help but be on pins and needles for all of them
I keep trying to visualize the excitement and pride they are going to feel donning those Navy Caps.
Looking forward to meeting everyone at Sarge's next Thursday.
Best of luck to Div 346 in Captains Cup! Praying for no injuries for all SR's who have yet to have Battlestations!
