Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 345 and 346
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Congratulations to DIV 346 for winning the Chant! Also, congrats to DIV 345 for winning the Captains Cup! So glad to have rec'd a phone call from my son yesterday afternoon! Although he is sick (cold?), he sounded happy. He said the competition was fun and he was excited for battlestations. He's also looking forward to A school in PCola.
Wishing both divisions much luck for BS!
Have not heard from my son, except a letter Friday telling me all that was goingthis week. Since the letter was dated last Sunday. He did tell me that 2 people
decided liberty watch and they can decide who gets to have less family time.
He is not sure about he shipout to PNS so he asked us not to make any plans.
He also told me that all the CallforRecruit cards I sent to him -- he gave out to his
shipmates, so they could make calls home and that one of his gift cards he gave to one
of them, so that he could call home to Africa. He told me not to worry he would be calling
on Monday and Tuesday -- so I cannot wait to hear how BS went for them.
My son is going to Pensacola as an ABH -- he advised me that their schooling isbacked up 4-6 months. They are excited to be heading to Pensacola. Have heard so many wonderful things about Pensacola from so many friends.
I got my phone call from my SR: SHE IS A SAILOR!!!! Ship 11, DIV 345. We are so excited beyond words. We cannot wait to see her. Things worked out for her Lindsaysproudmom, can't wait to get there now.
Yay, so happy for you and your Sailor!! Only 2 more days (and 10 hours) until we see our girls!!
YIPPEE!!! My son is officially A SAILOR. Just recd my call and he sounds really tired and yet, they are all excited. You could hear them in the background. He said they will get 2 hours tomorrow to go and take it easy and make phone calls.
I am relieved and thrilled.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL YOUR SAILORS AND YOUR FAMILIES!!
I would like to THANK THEM for their Dedication and Commitment to Serving Our Country.
Where I work we get to see alot of the military coming and going in their travels. We always take the opportunity to Thank Them for their Service and we also try to take care of them in anyway that we can.
I personally was so appreciative the other day, when my Dr. shook my hand and Thanked me for my son's service and dedication.
Looking forward to meeting all of you at Sarge's on Thursday.
