Trying to connect with anyone who might have someone that's going to Meridian for "A" school. Due to medical issues of a family member we won't be able to meet up with our son at the airport to give him his cell phone/ laptop etc...  Sarge suggested trying to find someone else going to Meridian that may be able to take his things with them to the airport. Please let me know if you can help or have any other suggestions. Thanks and so excited to meet and celebrate with all of you tomorrow.

Yeomanmom, my son is going to Meridian MS for A school. My son found out today after Battle Stations that he is to be at the airport @ 1:30am Saturday morning. He was told that there are 600 military personel on the flight and that families are not allow to meet them at the airport. My daughter in law is going to overnight mail all of his stuff to him. You might see if that will work for you.

Congratualtions on your new Sailor.

Super Cute Bunny Waving

Awwww that is cute. How did it go for your Sailor? Is he all settled in? My son has been calling his wife and talking to her on Skype daily. He has a few pictures he's posted on Facebook too. Said that A school is like being at a summer camp there in Meridian. He is doing great!
