For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

That is the link for your facebook DIV group. It will be for your brother divisions since they do pretty much everything together like work, train, sleep etc. If you haven't already joined it please join. You may be able to find some others there. But it is still early; hopefully more will join you very soon.
My son is Ship 03, Div 298 PIR date 9/14/12. I am confused on how to access the different discussions and obtain information, can you direct me? Thanks so much. Cindy

momoffive2012, Wow I am a Mom of 4> All you need to do is follow this chat. Alot of great info for the divisions graduating 9/14. Have you had a letter or phone call from your son? My son said he is doing good and not to worry. Looking forward to graduation and seeing my son and meeting everyone. :-)
sorry I am still learning this thing lol...i keep replying in the wrong places...yes i have gotten a few calls and today i received my second letter...he sounds great but tired lol

My daughter is in the same and no, we have not gotten any letters. I did talk to her yesterday, though, as she called for reference addresses and phone numbers. She said she really likes her division, so I think all is well....no worries, they are fine!!!!
