Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 353 and 354
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

If they had not had to wait for division to fill or arrived the 17th they would PIR on 9/13. BUT 9/20 works for me too lol I know a lot of them got beyond homesick being on P-hold but this week they should start all the real training now that medical and all that stuff is behind them :) I miss my Bug also but the excitement overrides the missing. He was so excited about this choice!
Hello Ladies (and gentleman!)
Got another phone call Sat - could not have been more surprised and excited! Our son has a slight injury that has been keeping him from doing PT. He has been able to attend everything else, classes etc. We are concerned that it will delay his graduation, does anyone have any experience with this? thanks
Hello All! Anyone else in our Bro/Sis div assn. ABH? Trying to find our more about this job or find someone that has done this job to really find out what it entails and what reality is like-
Got our 2nd phone call yesterday from our Son!!! So happy to hear from him!
Hi, I'm new to the group. My SR is Ship 3 Div 354 also. Have had several phone calls from him, so happy. Sounds like he is doing well. He is probably older than some of the other SRs, 23 yrs so that may help. But can't wait to see him at PIR. Does anyone have a list of SRs who do not have support from home (family or friends) that I can send correspondence to? Would love to help.
Mine is 354 also :) You might check on the FB Calls for Recruits - there is a list of SRs not receiving much mail or in need of positive letters/cards :)
jkayr - did you ever get the link to Calls for Recruits?
Ok if you sign into facebook type Calls for Recruits into the search box and you will find it. It's normally updated a few times a week with new names of SRs not receiving mail. Right now there are a lot listed. I tried to copy the link here but it wouldn't let me.
Thank you, I had just found it and am waiting for a reply to join.
Hello all...is anyone that is attending PIR on 9/20 going to "Sarge's meet and greet" on the Thursday b/4 graduation? The information under events in this website makes it sound like this is something everyone attends....any thoughts, comments?
