Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Welcome to the discussion group for divisions 301&302!!

Theses two divisions are "brother divisions" and will be training together, from the beginning all the way to BS21 their final test.  What one does, so does the other.

My son is in Ship 11 Div 302.  He is 23, and from the Atlanta area.  I'll be checking for updates frequently!

My son is also Ship 11 Div 302. He is 19 from Ohio, We have made it, just to get through PIR without losing all our makeup will be a miracle. Congrats to all of you proud Navy moms! I feel like I'm graduating too!

My stepson is in 302. He is from NM. We are very proud of him. Looking forward to hearing some news. But they say no news is good news.

  Our son  is Ship 11 Div 302. I too am a proud mom but miss him so much.  Had a great phone call from him on Wednesday and it was very positive.  Hope you all are feeling proud and positive thatour "kid" made a good decision joining up

Proudstepmom,  You will hear "no news is good news" a lot here and it really is the thing to remember. Of course after you say it you may start yelling "FOR WHO?", but that's ok too. :)

My son is Ship 11 Div 301 and from VA. We have received the box and the letter. I sent out a letter from us the next day, now waiting to see if we get one back :)

My son is in Ship 11 Div 302. He is 20 from Grayson, GA

This makes my 6th child going to the military 5 Navy 1 Marine!

Ok. It's a Sunday. I'm not sure if they are getting thier mail or not yet though. According to the information I have a maiL officer has to be trained first.
