OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 367 and 368

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Well Mom's and Dad's from these two division I guess we are here for each other.  I know we all are praying for a phone call and some mail.  Hope everyone has a great day.

Got my letter today!!! YAY!!

Just got our call. So happy. Be ready.

Hey our kids are in the same ship/div.  I have been looking everywhere.  I have yet to hear from my son.  He called his girlfriend, but that was it.  No letters.  Did your SR say they were doing well or are they struggling?

Your son is in 368 also? My son is going to San Antonio for A school :)

My son is in 367 and is also going to San Antonio for A school, I can't wait to see him and he is in A school so I can talk to him. Good luck!!

Just got my call too. He was crying. He's super homesick. I cried too but tried to get him thinking positive. He said he's gettin mail everyday but can't send any out until tomm.

Bless his heart.  I'm happy you got your call.  Tell him to stay positive.  We're rooting for him and his division to make it through.

Have a good day.

Hey Moms and Dads!!  Just got a phone call, 10' long, from my SR!! WOOH!  He sounded tired but good.  This division, he says is in PUSH mode...which means they are accelerated...they had to wait for all SRs to arrive in order to round out the 88 for our wonderful Division 367 and now they are in a full-court press towards PIR on Sept 27th!!

Our Division 367 is all male, and they are working out their kinks!!  It's Week one and Day 4 for them at Bootcamp, now that they are out of P-days, so they all took their Swim and Run tests.  awwwwww, they had alittle time to go to NEX and to call home....hope you all can add info to our chat here!!

I just knew he'd call today!! I'm on cloud 9 !!!!  :)

That's wonderful.  It's almost over.

Got my call too. About an hour and a half ago. It was only 16 minutes though. My SR sounded good and said that it's not that bad there. He said the three RDC's they have are very nice. Passed the swim and running tests. Up at 4:15 and lights out at 10:00 p.m. Says he stays up to 11:00 though to study. Has gotten my letters and will just be able to mail his tomorrow. Said the peanut butter shot hurt. (Penicillin into their bottoms). He has made friends and all is well. So, I am feeling relieved and blessed. Now I can breathe! :)

Thank you for clearing up the "peanut butter shot" because I didn't know what that was. I received my letter today!! I'm on cloud 9!!! YAY!!
