Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 361 and 362
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!

Hello everyone Ship 14 Div 362
Hello to our own personal discussion group! :) Our SR is on Ship 14 Div 362
Hello there! Ship 14 DIV 361 here.
Hi! Ship 14 Div 361 as well:) See you at Sarge's meet and greet?
The only other person I know here is Kimpsu89. Are the others going to be at PIR and Sarge's Meet and Greet?
yes we're attending the meet and greet! we fly into O'Hare at 4:00 that day!
Hello Ladies! Ship 14, Div 361.... Did anyone get a phone call yesterday? I did, which was a nice surprise since his gf got the call last weekend. My husband and SR's gf and I are going to PIR and planning on going to the Meet and Greet...
Yes, we got a second call too! Great surprise and he sounded much better than he did last week. We will be at the meet and greet as well. Have a great week!
Glad we got unexpected phone calls this weekend!!! My SR didn't sound as good as she did last week, but it is because she has a nasty head cold and is just feeling tired out. She also said she failed her inspection. The disappointment in her voice broke my heart, but thanks to this site, as soon as we hung up, I set right out to pen the most encouraging letter I've written to date! She did say she gets another phone call on Wednesday but didn't know what time. After that, her division will have to "earn" anymore phone calls home. I will be at work and can't take personal calls, so if they call during business hours, she will be calling her dad's cell phone.
I really want to go to the meet and greet. We will be driving to GL on Thursday, so hopefully we get to GL in time to meet up with everyone!!
I just booked our flights this morning and we are arriving on Thursday as well... My SR has a sinus infection, so he was tired as well, but good. I was trying to figure out what to say to him in the 5 minutes we had because all of my questions are in the letters! I was calling all over the house for my daughter to come talk to him as well as she is 10 and really misses him, but in all of the confusion with his call I forgot that she was visiting our elderly neighbor next door. She was bummed to say the least but glad that we heard from him. Take care everyone and have a fabulous week!
