Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 311 and 312

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi! I'm from California and hopefully today I will be able to make my flight arrangement .... have you made yours? I also called MyNavyTaxi, I was very happy with all the info I got ....still nervous but not as much now...going to Grad by myself and I'm super nervous....

I bought plane tickets last night...going with my husband, our 4yo son and my daughter's boyfriend.  We plan to rent a car.

I bought my plane tickets and made taxi reservations and reservations for place to stay :) ....I'm all set....MY son has been at bootcamp since 8/6...still no phone call nor letter...hopefully I will receive a letter today.......been keeping positive thoughts but still going thru crying stages, its normal I know....I find these groups give me strength and more...I'm so proud of my son for the choice that he has made  :)

Hey GinaSmiles,

My son left 8/7.  I just received the first real letter from him today.   I live in Eastern TN.  It took 3 days from postmark (Aug 18) to make it here.  Hopefully you will receive a letter soon.

My daughter is also on this ship... I got my first letter from her yesterday I cried all night .. Hopefully they all doing well

Did you get a phone call yesterday?  I have not gotten a letter from my daughter yet but was shocked to get a phone call.  She cried, but pulled it together and said she will be fine.
