Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 313 and 314
These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.
Get to know each other, your SRs are!
Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.
Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.
Hang in there!!!
I was sad. I had only eaten maybe a dozen or so out of the bag. I told the girl to enjoy them. I don't think she liked my "sense of humor". ;) I love CA. It's on my bucket list to drive down the coast. We took the kids to San Diego several years ago and drove up to LA. That was quite an experience for KS follks. lol Can you say culture shock?
So on graduation is 4 people set in stone or will they allow more if there is room for instance if other sailors don't use their four?
I am interestofed in getting challenge coins for my son in Pir 10/3/313. Does anyone have any recommendations on which coins to get besides the boot camp coin.
Here you go. Maybe this will give you some ideas.
The USS Marvin Shields coin would be a great one because your SR was housed on it! Not sure what you mean by the boot camp coin. There's also the Recruit Training Command one and the Core Values one too.
Div. 314 here as well
My son Joe is in Ship 13, Division 314. Can't wait to see him. Looking forward to meeting other parents. Other than the Naval Museum, are there any "must see" places to visit during our short time there?
