I got 2 phone calls from my son this weekend! It was spectacular!!!
Hello! I wanted to ask you guys a favor. Or rather, extend an idea to you.

I am putting together a bunch of well-wishes for my SR and his Division (which is 340) where I'm having family and friends take photos of themselves holding a sign that says, "Good Luck!!" or "Rock Hard on BS21!!" or "Good Luck, We Love You!" or "Go Division 340, you Rock!"... Basically words of encouragement for their upcoming test. If anyone wants to send me a digital image of themselves with or without family holding up a sign and then e-mail it to me so I can print them out and mail them to my SR! I want to have them in the mail by Saturday at the latest because even though I plan on overnighting the letter it still may take a while once it reaches the RTC for it to reach him! Thank you so much! <3

I have also attached a few little signs that I made, quick and dirty like, on the computer if you want something you can just print and snap! :)

Love,
Rachel

Great Minds think alike! My kids and I did a card like that and sent it off to him this week so he gets it in time for next week! Usually we try to send something each week that our SR can share with the others in his division to boost moral. Funny things, cards... whatever! Great idea!
Hello,

I mailed the images of everyone holding well wishes for Division 340. My husband should get them and share them on Tuesday, which hopefully is in time for BS21.

I am beyond bummed that I won't be able to see him on Friday, I can't even put it into words. :\
I sent you a friend request. My SR may know him, as he is a NUKE. I gathered that is what your SR is. I'll send you my personal info in a private message once you accept my friend request. We plan to attend PIR, and stay for the weekend until Monday. If your SR would like to join us, he is more than welcome to tag along. We can exchange info in the private messages! I'll be sure to take plenty of pictures. Hubby intends to post them via his phone on FB. Whatever we can do to help, just ask! Only happy to help!
My son is also in div 340. We would be happy to have him tag along also. We live in Palmdale California. Anything I can do to help? I know you are sad you cannot see your husband, and I am sure he is sad he cannot see you. We will take a lot of pictures and once boot is over you can speak to him more often, That may help a little. Take care of yourself and that beautiful baby. Congratulations!!
I just got the call I am the proud mom of a SAILOR!!!Division 340
Hello
I got the call to. He sounded so happy. He had problem and passed out the day before div. pictures and was in sick bay so he won't be in the picture, other than that he is pumped up and ready for the future.
