OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

JessicaB posted this on our page so I just moved it up here to help keep track...

Here is what I know about BS21

1. They ALWAYS go in numerical order.
2. They always go with their brother division as they have done all training with them.
3. 800 and 900 div are thrown in anywhere in between (however, I imagine if they have a brother division, that they would go with them).900 div usually goes on Mon
4. Anywhere from 2-4 divisions can go per night. Why sometimes 2 and sometimes 4- who knows.
5. BS is from 8:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m.
6. You will get your calls between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
After the capping ceremony in the a.m., they have to clean the ship, eat, shower, etc

Not all the new Sailors call home...some have othere dutys, have to stand watch, if they are honor rcts or award winners have to practive for PIR

So when you get your call ask if everybody in the div passed and then post it here

Confirmation: div 329 & 330, 9-28 finish 9/29 SR's birthday!
My SR said the 28th for BS.
Hi All, just heard from my SR - ship 13 division 324 Battlestation is 23rd into the 24th.
Got the message too that Ship 13 Div 324 is 23rd to the 24th! That means they are in BS right now! Lots of prayers for the recruits and all of them getting ready to do BS!
I'm told by my daughter that BS is the 28th, and that her division is paired with 329. She also says that there will be people from different div. at battlestation, and there could be several div. represented at each battlestation.
BS21 Schedule is back up on the main page of our PIR group.
I heard div.. 821 got the Captains cup can anyone confirm?
