Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

Hello ladies! Hope everyone made it home safe. I know that JMom is still in Great Lakes with her mother-in-law in ICU! Prayers going up for her and her family. I am so glad to be home but miss my Sailor terribly. Will be glad when he gets moved to A school and I can send him his phone so we can talk. I know that I have asked before but I am trying to figure out whose Sailor is staying in Great Lakes for A school so we can hook up in the new page. Well I have to go to bed since it is back to reality in the morning. Hope to hear from you all soon! Bellaboo don't forget to look some of us up every once in a while!!!! Was so glad to meet the moms that I did at PIR and sorry I didn't get to meet more. Thanks for letting me share in the ride of bootcamp, it was a rough and bumpy ride but was glad to share it all with you.
Hello everyone! Can you believe a week ago we were all Chicago bound? Our son is staying in Great Lakes for A school. He said he'd be moving "across the street" on Wednesday morning at 6:00 a.m. He didn't know the location. The RDC's always referred to the next location as "across the street". Anyway, he's excited to start A school. I wrote about our PIR experience on the other page. Thank you everyone for all your support and kind sharing. Graduation and the weekend in Chicago was wonderful! I'm looking forward to receiving the DVD in the mail. The grandparents will enjoy watching it, too.
Sondra, my son is staying in GL for A school. He is Corpsman.
Thank you Jmon! Haven't heard from our son since we said goodbye Sunday. No mail this Monday for Columbus Day. It will be great when he has his cell phone. The grandparents love the 5 x 7 photo they each received. Have a great weekend everyone!
Moms/Wives from Ship 13 Div. 330 - our guys are awesome. Check out Becky's post on the PIR 10/l/2010 site and see what they did. Brought tears to my eyes. Jake is such an amazing young man and I am so sorry that he had to leave the div. He made such an impression on the group. I tried to repost here for all to see but I am "duh" when it comes to some computer skills. lol
