Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

Most calling cards allow the area code of the calls origination.
I got the same impression that calls were not going to be much of an option with the way things were going. But that was a week ago too and they may have gotten it together and started to gel a bit so that they can call home. I hope I hear something this week but I am not going to be crushed if I don't. Not much we can do but sit on our thumbs and wait.
Thanks for letting me know that. Yes, not much we can do but wait.
Waiting ..... seems like we do a lot of that here lately! lol Well I am not going to lie and say I am not disappointed, but I do realize that I am not the one in control either. So I guess I will wait to see if I get a letter Wednesday! I think I might start cleaning out his room! I am going to be moving the computer in there and making a newt tank to go in there too. So I have plenty to keep be busy while I wait. lol
I started cleaning out Michael's room last week. We just finished today. It was a hard process as he is my first to leave home. He always had the "cool" room with the bathroom so his middle brother is moving in there.
Good Morning my fellow Navy moms/wives - Hope all are doing fine. Today is a dreary day for me - for some reason really missing my SR. Also watching the weather channel to see whats up with hurricane Earl. Everyone please have a great day - will check in later.
Kat I was just watching the weather and hope you and your family are taking cover from Earl! I automatically thought of you when they said where it was headed! Prayers going up that you will be safe. Please keep us posted as you are able. I have been through a hurricane and know how bad it can be!!!!!
Saw on the PIR 10/1 that some folks are starting to get calls...Looks like DIV 900 and DIV 326. Maybe we'll be today too!! Missing my kiddo.
Me too MtnMom! Wouldn't that be great!
I know I am freaking out pacing the floor waiting! His letter said to expect a call on Wednesday the 1st of Sept. so I am going to bank on that day for now, but if it comes earlier I will probably have a coronary, lol. I know I'm gonna cry when he calls. I get misty thinking of it! Geez...this sucks!! lol
Hang in there Bellaboo! I keep looking at my phone like that will make my son call! lol I am telling myself if he calls GREAT but if he doesn't then I will continue to wait patiently. lol Yeah right!!!!!!
I know!! I'm at work freaking out that he''ll call on the home phone and not my cell phone... Can't wait to leave so I can go home and sit and stare at both of my phones at the same time! LOL
Well if it makes you feel any better I am sitting staring at both of mine and neither have rung, YET!!!!! So be careful going home, want to meet you at PIR!!!!!!
