Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

I am anticipating a letter from my hubs this week, was hoping for a call too but I don't think those are going to happen this week. He said that 13/330 was moving ships on the 6th? Any confirmation on that anyone?? I hate waiting on snail mail. I was advised to stop sending letters the 23rd as they may not get them and have time to write and send something back because the last week they are swamped in prep for BS-21.
I have so many questions and I think I'm getting an ulcer from all the impatience and anxiety, lol!!!
Sorry MtnMom nothing here! My last letter was dated on the 5th. I think they will end Hell week tomorrow with a trip to the NEX to buy Shampoo! lol (and maybe a phone call) Not sure what they need with it since they just got their hair cut again. lol I am hoping to get a phone call maybe tomorrow. The last time I talked to him he said maybe another call in 2 weeks. The last I heard things were better! Bellaboo I wish I knew what ship they were in. My son didn't say anything about changing ships. Is that normal??? He did say that they would be the last recruits in the USS Marvin Shields. I too will stop sending letters around the 23rd. Not sure how I am going to fill my time if I am not writing to him. lol I wish he would call so I could ask about his bank info (since he doesn't answer my questions in his letters). I am worried about paying for his pictures. He knows which pkg to order because we discussed it before he left and I wrote in on his card for his billfold. lol Just in case he forgot! I haven't received anything on a bank account! Sorry for rambling but my husband doesn't always listen to me and thinks I should just let him be grown. Like that is going to happen!! lol
Pshhh, my SR is my hubs and I still won't let him be grown, lol!!! He's still a 28 year old 15 yr old, lol. I have sooo many questions too and I have to wait and wait and then he doesn't answer my questions. He gives me random strange info that I don't need, lol!
I think by now they are just zombies wandering about there in a routine, otherwise brain dead,LOL!!! At least my SR seems to be.
Question: Does anyone else have a family member going to Connecticut for A school? Also, I still have not seen a Meet and Greet scheduled in the Events section. Am I missing it?
My SR will be staying in GL for A school. sorry!!!!!! Isn't there a discussion on the M & G being at the Ramada? Or at least I thought I saw one! lol We need to decide if we want to get together afterwards to eat or something.
Where did you see it? I looked in the Events section under Meet and Greet. It skips from Sept 16 to Oct 11th. I am guessing if there is one it's on the 30th and I do not get in until early evening so I would miss it anyway. Let me know where you find it. Thanks Sondra.
The last letter we received was dated the 5th. That seems like ages ago! : (
Hey Twin Falls Are you talking about on the right side of the screen under events or in our PIR group? If it is our PIR group go to the discussion section and at the bottom right click view all then go to the botom and click page 2. Meet and Greet discussion is on that page. It you are talking about in the events section to the right of every page I don't see it yet either. lol All of them have been from 6-8 though. What time do you get in????
Thanks Sondra. I found it. I was looking under "events" on the top of the page. Someone may want to add it there too? I don't get in to the airport until 6:00 ish and my husband is coming in from NC (from a business trip) so we will be meeting up there, renting a car and heading to the hotel. I want to drive the route to make sure Friday is perfect. Thanks for letting me know someone started a discussion on it though. I appreciate it.
Love seeing 16 on the countdown clock!! We won't arrive until after 9:00 p.m. Thursday night.
Are any of you on Facebook? If you are, I just found U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command. You might want to check it out. Hope you're all having a wonderful day!
Thank you!!!
