Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

Oh I would love to be a fly on the wall too! Although this son was pretty good about things. What I really wish was that I could send my 14 year old to bc. He is a good kid just a slob. Never picks anything up, always throwing his dirty clothes in the floor, never makes a bed or cleans a thing. He does fold clothes but that is only because I make him. lol Hope everyone has a good day! See ya tonight!!!!!!
Happy Tuesday everyone! I'm sure the SR's are doing the countdown, too. Wednesday is usually the day we receive a letter so it's almost here. Hoping we all get letters this week! Have a great day everyone!
Hi Ladies This site has been a great support to me everyone sharing their thoughts and inspirations, thank you one and all. Soon our group will branch out into other groups as our sailors grow with the US Navy. Hope to make it for the meet and greet, if not see you at PIR 10/01/2010!
I am getting overwhelmed with excitment here..... less than a week --- new grandbaby.... then having to leave her so soon worries me but i know she will be okay...

than one week listening out for that call from SR.. hope there is no dead zones between here and home as we will be driving back home...

than next day flying... and i can tell you right now i will not be able to sleep thursday night.... ohhhh btw
Good morning!!!!!!
I bet youa re overwhelmed with excitment! So many good things happening for you all at once. Does your daughter have someone that can come and stay with her while you are gone? I used to work in L&D and know how hard it can be after a section. I too am so excited about getting my "sailor" call. I will be traveling to so I hope and pray there aren't any dead spots! Hope you are having a great day!
Im hoping she doesnt have to have a section. they will induce..... just pray she will have no problems... the other 2 were induced and went great in fact the second came fast..lol...her neighbors will be close.... i hate leaving her but have no choice. just hope we can get them home...my oldest granddaughters bday is that Wed.. 29th.. but we picked up DQ cake today to celebrate tonight.. .
Oh my mistake I thought she was having a section! I hope she doesn't need one either. Maybe she will be up and around quickly.
Guys, not 100% sure but I think that new FB pic is our division. Looks exactly like my son when I zoom in. He's close to the camera. Either that or he has a long lost Navy twin out there. I could be wrong, but if ya'll might want to take a look to see if your kiddo or hubby is one of them. The eyes! It's all in the eyes! (LOL cause that's all you can see). Here's to letters and calls and new babies!!
MtnMom62, which FB site did you see the pic. on? God Bless your daughter and grandbaby, sailor mom1.
Maureen the pic is on our main PIR 10/1 page. I printed the picture big on our super duper printer at work and it is him. No doubt.
That's exciting MtnMom62! We received a short letter today. He's had a little cough but not really under the weather. They are in the 3rd and final phase. He'll be studying hard for tests in firefighting, battle stations lab and a cumulative academic test. Any recruit who fails any of the above will be held back 2 weeks. Their division has "flagged" every inspection. (Flagged is good I guess.) Currently 330 is in first place above the other divisions to graduate. The first place division marches into the hall 1st at graduation. RDC's are giving them a good motivator for keeping up the good work; extending curfew a couple hours on liberty weekend. He said, right now you probably know more about graduation than I do (from this website). The RDC's are going to be filling them in soon on graduation.
YEE HAWWW!!!! Go DIV 330!!!!!!! Those RDC's must be awesome!!!!!!!! We are almost there ladies!!!!
