Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind that I moved our page to our PIR group.  I read where we need to do this so that the other page can be cleared for the next group.  Plus this will be easier to keep up with!  lol  Hope you all are having a great day!

My son is staying at GLs as well....and yes Kat, sorry I didn't respond to your email, that is the name on my son's letter LOL.....can't wait to meet everyone!!! But most of all I can't wait to see my son. I know exactly what you are saying Kat, what would I do with out this group??? What did my great-grandmother do 65 years ago - 3 sons in the service and not internet to chat to other mothers? LOL
Prayed for all of our SR's for a successful week while in church today. No calls here either... I live very close to an Air Force Base. Every night they play TAPS over the loudspeaker and you can hear it at my house. When I hear TAPS at the AFB, then I know I can stop looking at and listening for the phone for the day....no calls after TAPS :) Can't wait to meet everyone in a few days at PIR!!
wow looks like there will be several of us moving to the group GL A school!!! Not the exact wording lol
My son is also staying in GL for A school ... also Corpsman... no wonder some of these have become friends.. they will still be together thru the next 14 weeks maybe

OK...so who's gonna be up with me all night tomorrow night??! LOL I know I won't be able to sleep. Shoot, I haven't slept for the other divisions going through BS...I will surely be up all night for 330!
I will be awake. I haven't slept but a few hours each night for maybe 2 weeks.
I am going to try to stay awake! I have 12 hours the next day to sleep while riding in the car!!!! lol I am starting to get a little nervous. I know our guys have this and will pass with flying colors!!!!! I hope I have everyone from our group on fb now! If I don't please let me know! lol
I too am getting nervous. I have been on edge all day, I am exhausted and can't sleep. I have to sleep tomorrow night because I have to be ready to work late Wednesday so I can drive Thursday. I am not the only driver in the car but the only one that is willing to drive with out much pressure LOL. I just keep holding on to the thought that I will see my son on Friday!!!!
Becky!! Im crying!! You are so sweet and Jake has the heart of an angel! I will share this with my SR, David, so he knows Jakes dedication to Division 330. Jake will be in their hearts tonight. Rest assured he will not be forgotten. I am hopeful that the surgery will be successful for Jake. Jake, honey, don't give up on your dream!! In one way or another your Country needs YOU! You have a calling and it is a LOUD one!! Never give up!!
Becky, thank YOU for being there for ME when I was in tears back on 8/10 waiting for the call that my son had arrived safely at Great Lakes. You waited up with me until the phone finally rang around midnight. I will NEVER EVER FORGET that you were there for me that night. God Bless You Both!!
My God, I can't stop the tears from flowing while reading this. Becky you and your son are amazing and I am so sorry that I didn't get to know you in person. I have printed this out to take and share with my SR and whoever else while in GL. God Bless You Always Please give Jake another hug from me - he is awesome. I will relay his wishes to his fellow shipmates as best as I can. Thank him for his constant support. He is a true friend.
