That makes it even more special!
awwww A very special day
indeed. :)
Ive been watching lots of videos showing graduations....does anyone know why some graduations they are wearing their blues, and then other ones, they have on their whites.....

Just wondering!
Saw a post some time ago that said they switch to "blues" in October and back to "whites" I think it was in April. Except in Hawaii and Alaska??
I don't know about the Hawaii and Alaska thing, but it is a seasonal thing. Blues start in or around Oct. I think they said either Oct. 8 PIR will start blues or Oct. 15 PIR will.. it's one of the two. Then whites start back up closer to spring/summer (not sure exactly what month, maybe around May?)
Thanks...
blues are for cooler temps, whites r for nicer days
Letters soon be here soon!!!!! :) yay.
Ladies!!! Im sure lots of you are getting letters as well, just thought a few things that my son wrote would be nice to post on here incase you hadn't heard...

He said that 344 division was having trouble in the beginning, but their last inspection, they scored a 4.9 out of 5, and they were told that their division is in the position of being a "hall of fame' division, which is a complete turn around!! He said he was really happy with the 180 degree turn around!!!

He said he is running out of room for all my letters, but to not stop writing them! ha ha

He has gained 8 pounds, so he is thrilled with that!

He got sharpshooter on their live fire, he said he was just a few points away from being expert....guess all the years of paintball helped!!

They had division photos and individual pics

I thought it was cute, he said the RTC's tell them not to mess with the Navy ladies, because they know their rights and they will 'own you'! ha ha he got a laugh from that!

He sounded very upbeat, and excited to almost be done'!

We are so close ladies!!!!!
my letter said the same, also that if their DIV stays on stop they will get stay out later for liberty!! :)
also the 4.9 for drill is funny bc if they got a 5.0 they would of got an HOUR phone call.
